Fire Destroys Two-Story House in Cakung

Fire razed a two-story house on Jalan Cempaka 2 Taman Modern, Block C, Cakung, Monday (11/20), at around 11.10 AM.

"Five fire cars and 18 firemen are immediately sent to the scene," said Gatot Sulaiman, Section Head of Fire Handling and Rescue, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., Monday (11/20).

Fire Hit 6 Storehouses in Penjaringan

Those managed to control the situation one hour after the incident. Based on temporary allegation, it was triggered by electricity short-circuit. 

"No fatalities and casualties here. And the loss is predicted to reach Rp 200 million," he closed.
